Recognizing women physicians: Canadian Women Physicians Day 2026

Nearly two out of three physicians in our membership are women — higher than the 50.7 per cent national average of women in family medicine.

While we appreciate all our members, we recognize and highlight the contributions of women physicians on the heels of International Women’s Day and ahead of Canadian Women Physicians Day on March 11.

So, on Wednesday, March 11, we will help raise awareness of Canadian Women Physicians Day across our social media (Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn) with posts featuring the advice of one of our women members.

This week, we put the focus on women physicians, but every day, we appreciate the physicians whose membership forms the foundation of our PCN.

By providing an array of helpful programs and services, our aim is to make a difference in your lives so you can make an even more significant difference in the lives of your patients.
