Get certified and reimbursed for Heart & Stroke life support courses.

Our PCN is offering members the opportunity to complete eligible Heart & Stroke life support certifications and apply for reimbursement.

To provide members with greater flexibility and more development opportunities, eligible courses can be completed anytime between Monday, April 6 and Friday, Aug. 28.

Eligible certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Courses must be taken in Alberta through Heart & Stroke. Both blended and in-person courses are eligible.

Funding is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so apply for reimbursement early, before it’s gone. Reimbursement is unavailable if you have been or will be paid by another source for the course, or if the course is completed after Friday, Aug. 28.
