CPSA: Tips for clinical notes, complete a PPIP activity

Based on the results of past Physician Assessment & Feedback reviews, the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) is sharing nine tips to enhance your clinical documentation.

CPSA has posted the steps in a two-minute read on their website and included tools and details to support physicians in meeting a Physician Practice Improvement Program (PPIP) requirement:

• A clinical documentation review meets the requirements of the PPIP standards of practice activity.
• You can use the CPSA’s online clinical documentation review tool to complete the review.
• You can also use the CPSA’s online template to create your action plan.
