2026 SFM awards recognize a member

Congratulations to Dr. Van Nguyen, a member of our PCN, for her recent awards from the Alberta Medical Association’s Section of Family Medicine (SFM):

• Outstanding Service Award for outstanding contributions in promoting and enhancing primary care in Alberta
• Long Service Award for family physicians who have served on the SFM Executive or other committees on the SFM’s behalf for five or more years consecutively or cumulatively.

Dr. Nguyen is the Medical Director for CUPS, and the Outstanding Service Award highlights her contributions to community health, addiction medicine, and care for vulnerable populations.

We also congratulate the other 2026 SFM award winners.
