2024 Patient Experience Survey results

May 20, 2025

Each year, our PCN administers a Patient Experience Survey to collect feedback from our patients.

The optional survey gathers data from patients of our Primary Care Registered Psychologists (PCRPs), Primary Care Registered Nurses (PCRNs), Registered Nurses with Senior Services, and Social Workers. We received a total of 477 responses to the survey.

The results of the 2024 survey are in, and we are pleased to share its key findings.

Mental Health Program highlights:

  • Patients appreciated our recently launched extended-hours PCRP and social work appointment options, with 92 per cent of respondents with an evening or weekend appointment agreeing or strongly agreeing that these options allowed them to access services they otherwise would not be able to.
  • 87 per cent of respondents who had an appointment with a PCRP reported feeling better prepared to deal with daily challenges because of their visit(s).
  • 83 per cent of respondents who had an appointment with a Social Worker said their provider connected them to or helped them apply for required services.

Nursing highlights:

  • More than 95 per cent of respondents who had an appointment with a PCRN or Senior Services RN said their provider explained things in a way that was easy to understand, involved them in their care decisions, and listened carefully to their needs.
  • 94 per cent of respondents who had an appointment with a Senior Services RN were very satisfied or satisfied with the care they received.
  • 88 per cent of respondents who had an appointment with a PCRN were very satisfied or satisfied with the care they received.

We are pleased to see that our programs and services are connecting our community with key resources, offering meaningful support, and meeting patient needs.

As always, feedback gathered will be used to determine areas of strength and opportunities for improvement within our PCN.

We look forward to sharing next year’s survey results.
