From fertility optimization to referral: Practical insights for primary care.

Join us for a 90-minute CME Connect webinar, Managing Infertility in the Medical Home, featuring reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist Dr. Amanda Forsyth-Greig.

Dr. Forsyth-Greig will provide a practical overview of infertility and explore the important role family physicians can play in supporting patients. The session will cover approaches to optimizing fertility, including managing contributing conditions and modifiable risk factors, ovulation tracking, and the emotional and psychosocial impacts of infertility.

You’ll also hear from two community partners about resources available to support both physicians and patients. The Calgary Regional Fertility Program will provide guidance on referral criteria, wait times, publicly and privately covered services, preparing successful referrals, and the Generations of Hope Fertility Assistance Fund. The Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Centre will highlight free supports available for people experiencing infertility, miscarriage, pregnancy loss, and related challenges.

Registration is open to physician members and their clinic staff.
