The Power Over Pain Portal provides free, science-backed online resources for the management of chronic pain and related mental health and substance use challenges through two websites:
The adult website offers:
- Educational resources (articles, videos, self-directed courses, and more)
- Peer support (communities and phone services)
- Live workshops and events (plus recordings)
The youth website includes:
- 20-plus modules on pain
- The Canadian pain community
- Podcast with youth empowering youth with rheumatic disease
- Apps and more
Eligibility: The portal is designed for the one-in-five Canadians who live with chronic pain and their family members or caregivers.
Access:
- For the adult website, many resources are available without an account, but creating an account allows access to self-directed courses, self-assessments, resource suggestions, and progress tracking.
- For the youth website, an account is required to access its resources.
