ECHO Autism: Six-part series starting this fall

Registration is open for a six-session virtual series that will connect you to a team of autism specialists based at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital in Edmonton.

Sessions start at noon on the first and third Thursday of the month, beginning Sept. 17.

Each one-hour session includes a didactic learning session, case presentation from a registered participant, question period, and recommendation period, followed by an optional 15-minute Q&A with the didactic presenter.

Didactic presentation topics will include:

• ASD primary care pathway
• Navigating FSCD
• Parent perspectives
• And more

By participating, you will be able to:

• Integrate evidence-based autism care into your practice
• Discuss autism related concerns with autistic individuals and their families/caregivers
• Identify and refer patients to appropriate autism-related assessment and/or intervention services
• Identify and share appropriate autism-related resources and strategies with autistic individuals and their families/caregivers
• Adopt a strength-based, neuro-affirming framework in your practice
