Health card expiration

Effective July 2, new health cards include an expiry date.

Types of cards and dates:

• Integrated card (driver’s licence ID with personal health number) with the expiration date being the same as for the driver’s licence
• Mobile health card available with Alberta Wallet with the expiry date listed
• Standalone card for people who aren’t eligible for the integrated card with the expiry date listed

Before a card expires, cardholders will be asked to revalidate their residency and personal details for everyone on their AHCIP account.
