Long-term care homes share success in appropriate antipsychotic use

On Thursday, Oct. 1 at 10 a.m., the Appropriate Use Coalition is hosting a one-hour webinar with practical strategies long-term care homes have used to reach the national target for appropriate antipsychotic use.

In this peer-to-peer session, long-term care homes from Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario will share:

• The approaches that made a difference for their residents and care teams
• Lessons learned and practical strategies that have supported success
• Ideas that other long-term care teams can adapt and apply in their own settings.
