U of A: Abnormal uterine bleeding webinar

On Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026, at noon, part two of the University of Alberta’s series on women’s health is a one-hour webinar: Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: More Than ‘Just’ a Period.

Through a practical, case-based overview of how to approach abnormal uterine bleeding in primary care, webinar participants will learn to:

• Recognize when heavy menstrual bleeding is pathologic
• Identify patients at increased risk for endometrial cancer
• Counsel effectively on the limitations of Pap smears
• Select appropriate first-line investigations
