Best wishes to end 2025

Dec 12, 2025

Good evening colleagues,

As the new Board Chair, I offer you and your loved ones best wishes for a happy holiday season and new year on behalf of our Board of Directors.

I hope you take a moment to celebrate your accomplishments this past year — and all the years before — as a critical contributor to patients’ health and primary care.

Thinking back over our PCN’s past year, I was pleased to remember the:

From the latest program expansion to after-hours care and programs for mental health, seniors, and more, our PCN continues to provide additional care and support for your patients so they can live their healthiest lives.

While we wait for more details about regional networks, we know the Calgary area will be one of seven in the province with an overall mandate to:

  • Build on the existing strengths of PCNs
  • Take on responsibility for meeting the primary care needs of the entire population (attached and unattached)
  • Support primary care providers in the delivery of care

We will continue to share updates as we learn more and thank you for your patience.

Thank you, also, to everyone who will be supporting patients at the Primary Care Centre over the holidays.

Sincerely,

Dr. Amanda Wang
Chair, CWC P.G. Co. Board of Directors
